Frequently asked questions

Where is Kangina saffron grown and harvested?

Our threads come from farms in Herat, Afghanistan, a region famous for its deep‑red Grade A “all‑red” stigmas.

Is this 100 % pure saffron or is it mixed with turmeric or safflower?

It’s 100 % pure Crocus sativus stigmas; no fillers, dyes, or additives. We run every batch through ISO‑3632 lab testing to verify crocin (color), picrocrocin (taste), and safranal (aroma) levels.

Is the product vegan and gluten‑free?

Yes on all three. Saffron is simply a dried flower stigma: no animal or gluten involved.

How is the saffron packaged?

We seal the threads in a food‑grade glass jar with a tight metal cap, then place it inside a recyclable Kraft box for light protection during shipping. No plastic pouches.

When will Kangina’s dried‑fruit range be available in the online shop?

The dried fruits are in their import stages right now. We’re working hard to get them on the shelves as soon as possible. Join our email list and we’ll let you know the moment they go live!
